SCRP - Structured Contract Research Program (SCRP) 

(Research based on structured contracts)

North-West and North-East Regions​

SCRP is meant to leverage the potential of existing human and physical infrastructure to increase the volume of research services provided to firms

The initiation and implementation of the program for the development of the institutional framework necessary for the contract-based marketing of research services to the private sphere (introduction of the concept of research based on structured contracts), included / will include activities such as:

  • preparation of an extensive report on the alignment of the needs of the private environment with the availability of research equipment and staff in research institutions (including inventory of research equipment / services, etc.)

  • organizing workshops to monitor the use of RDI equipment

  • developing the methodology for allocating at least 20% of the capacity of research equipment purchased from EU funds to be used by the private sector. Development of a structured research contract model for selected RDI organizations, development of methodologies for monitoring the use of RDI equipment

  • participation in study visits

Within this project, a series of interviews took place with the representatives of the technology transfer entities within the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, the aim being to identify the key activities carried out by these entities, the difficulties they face in marketing research results and offering research services for the private sector, as well as the use of research equipment for commercial purposes.
